OSB (Oriented Standard Boards) Classification and Formulation
- Oriented strand board. - OSB board chips have a certain shape and thickness. In order to obtain a multi-layer board, the chips can be pressed with the help of a combiner unit. - The chips in the outer layers of the boards are laid in the direction of the long axis of the board. - The chips in the middle layer are laid in a direction perpendicular to the chips in the outer layer.
German OSB Particleboard Categories
According to the technical and production features determined by the EN 300 European standards, OSB Boards are divided into 4 categories: OSB1, OSB2, OSB3 and OSB4 - German OSB2 - carrier construction boards used in dry environments - German OSB3 - carrier construction boards used in humid environments Thanks to its excellent physical, mechanical properties and richness of form, the German OSB product range provides new opportunities in application areas. Areas of use can be summarized as; - carrier floor construction, - wall cladding, - under roof cladding, - in the construction of warehouse, store, stage, tribune structures, - in the construction of store and exhibition stands, - in the packaging and package sector. German OSB is a high quality European product and can be used for constructive purposes in situations requiring dimensional stability and resistance to loading.
Advantages of German OSB Boards
- High strength obtained by laying the chip layers in perpendicular directions. - High strength in the main axis - Easy workability - Ecologically and biologically harmless - The product is preferred with its natural appearance - 100% use of wood material and easy recycling opportunities
German Organized Industrial Zone 2
German OSB 2 is produced in accordance with the requirements of EN 300 standard. The technical parameters of the boards are completely suitable for the production of carrier constructions used in dry environments. German OSB 2 Application Areas: - In interior constructions such as wall panels, floor panels and constructions. - In the production of upholstered furniture, carrier constructions - As a decorative material - In shelf production - In the production of packaging for transportation (except for liquid transportation) - For the purpose of compressing the load in transportation
