Schlüter ® -QUADEC-A is a high-quality finishing profile made of anodized aluminum for external corners of ceramic walls and provides corner protection.
The visible surface of the profile forms the right-angled external corner of the ceramic covering. The joint wing creates a joint gap between the ceramic and the wall.

APPLICATION
Schlüter ® -QUADEC should be selected according to the tile thickness.
Ceramic adhesive is applied to the area where the ceramic surface is to be demarcated using a notched trowel. If Schlüter ® -QUADEC is to be applied to an external corner of a wall, the ceramics should be laid on the wall first and then the ceramic adhesive should be applied to the corner area of the second wall.
Schlüter ® -QUADEC with perforated mounting wings is pressed into the adhesive layer and positioned.
The perforated mounting wing is completely covered with ceramic adhesive and the round gap should be filled with ceramic adhesive.
The ceramics are pressed to be at the same level with the upper corner of the profile. The ceramics in the profile area must be laid in an air and watertight manner.
The ceramic is brought up to the joint wing on the profile edge and thus a uniform joint of 1.5 mm is provided. There is no joint wing in stainless steel, brass and PRG profiles. Therefore, a joint gap of approximately 1.5 mm should be left. The joint gap between the profile and the ceramic should be filled with joint mortar.
Sensitive surfaces should be applied with materials and tools that do not cause scratches or damage. Contamination caused by mortar or ceramic adhesive should be cleaned immediately, especially from aluminium surfaces.
Suitable corner pieces are available for internal and external corners.
