BERKA MODSTEEL FORMWORK SYSTEMS
Modsteel modular formwork system is a formwork system consisting of plywood or steel surfaced panels, It is used as curtain and column formwork in projects such as villas, housing, infrastructure etc. It is an ideal solution for projects where cranes are not used, as it is portable and stackable by hand.
Modsteel steel surfaced panels are produced from a quality steel sheet material with an outer carcass of 5mm, a surface sheet of 3mm and an outer carcass height of 60mm. Our steel products are dipped in paint. In addition, upon request, our products can be galvanized and dipped according to TS 914 EN ISO 1461 standards.
SYSTEM FEATURES:
Modsteel system panels have a concrete compressive strength of 40 kN/m².
All parts of the system can be carried by hand .
No assembly required, materials are ready for use as soon as they arrive at the construction site.
Modsteel system is a formwork system suitable for use in another project after the project finishes.
Panels are easily locked to each other with a single connection element.
With the Modsteel system formwork system, suitable formwork solutions can be produced for every different structure, such as stair formwork.
A rigid connection is created by using a fastener every 20 cm with the hole system in panel joints. A small number of locks is sufficient for panel combinations. This shortens the formwork set up and dismantling labor time.
Our steel products are dipped in paint.
BERKA has two types of modular panel formwork system: ISKA
Modular Panel Formwork Stsyems are made, For columns and
curtain surfaces at any desired dimension. Panels are connected
rigidly by using of acccesories like wedge and pins. Panels can be
carried either by manpower or by crane made into blocks of
panels locked on each other

BERKA PLYWOOD SURFACED FORMWORK PLATES: •Thickness of plyvvood: 18 or 21 mm •Thickness of support bars: 4-5mm •Supplier of the material: Eregli Iron Stell Co., Turkey, •Type of the sheet iron: A1 •Dimensions: 60x280, 40x140,33x300, 40x280, 50x280,40x300cm (Upon request panels with special dimensions are also produced.)
APPLICATION TYPES: These systems Provide economy at a rate of 60% in compare with timbers. Joining components consist of pin,wedge and stick lock. It is possible to come up with practical and convenient panels for concrete moulding
With circular columns 3 props are used with 120 degree angle in between. With quadrangle columns 2 props on 2 consecutive surfaces are used. Totally 4 props should be used.
Assembling Panels: Either panel clamp or pin-wedge componentes are used to lock panels without any difficulty or sofisticated labor work. Every 40 cm, panel clamp or pin-wedge components must be used to lock panel holes to assemble system.
BERKA Modular Formwork System Assembling Plan:
1. BERKA Modular Panels are arranged together
2. Panels are connected each other with panel clamps via serial holes
3. Keep going by the same assembly proccess with the other panels. BERKA Steel Walers are assembled due to the project design and gathered with anchoring components.
4.Then assemble the push-pull props due to the project design to finish the assembling process. Keep going by the same assembly process.
