It complies with TS EN 998-2 I G-M5 class.
Public Works Item No: 04.478
Area of Use:
It is used in bonding structural elements such as aerated concrete and brick, which have high water absorption.
Features:
It has high adhesion strength.
It can be easily combed.
It saves time and labor.

Temperature Resistance: -25ºC to +70ºC
The above values are given for +23 ºC and 50% relative humidity.
Pre-Application Preparation:
The surface to be applied must be stable, strong enough to carry loads and free of cracks.
The application surface must be cleared of any substances that prevent adhesion, such as dust, oil, and paint.
If there are any irregularities on the ground where the walls will be built with aerated concrete bricks, they should be corrected with screed and brought to the tailor.
If necessary, the surface must be sufficiently wetted before application.
APPLICATION:
25 kg Alfix Block , Aerated Concrete Braiding Adhesive should be slowly poured onto 8-9 lt. of water and mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The mixture should be made with a low speed mixer. No additives should be added that are not specified in the application instructions.
The prepared mortar should be rested for 5-10 minutes to mature. It should be mixed again for 1-2 minutes before starting the application.
The mixture in the container should be consumed within 1-2 hours.
The adhesive should be spread over the entire surface, combed with a 10x10x10 mm comb and applied in the same thickness.
When knitting, care should be taken to leave a maximum of 3 mm wide joints horizontally and vertically, and care should be taken to completely fill the joints with adhesive.
The bonding process should be done on the combed mortar within 10-15 minutes.
The placed aerated concrete block is placed by ramming from the top and sides.
Warnings:
Avoid application at temperatures below +5ºC and above +35ºC.
Expired or crusted mortar in the container should be discarded.
Wash all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use.
Consumption: 2-3 kg/m²
It is the consumption of the mortar when applied to a 1 m² surface with a thickness of 3 mm. The consumption to be determined according to the wall area should be calculated by taking into account the brick dimensions. (See Masonry Mortar Consumption Calculation)
Consumption amounts are theoretically calculated values in a laboratory environment; we recommend that a consumption control sample be applied before application.
