Temperature Resistance: -25ºC to +70ºC
The above values are given for +23 ºC and 50% relative humidity.
Pre-Application Preparation:
The application surface must be cleared of substances that prevent adhesion such as dust, oil and paint.
Sub-surfaces that are not strong enough to support the application, such as cracked plasters and weak surfaces, should be cleaned from the application surface.
Floors requiring repair should be repaired with special repair mortars at least 3-4 days before applying the adhesive.
APPLICATION:
25 kg of Alfix Mahya , Mahya Tile Adhesive Mortar and 5-6.5 liters of water are poured into a clean container and mixed with a low speed mixer or trowel until a lump-free mixture is obtained.
During the mixing process, no additives should be added that are not specified in the application instructions.
The prepared mortar should be left to mature for 5-10 minutes and then mixed for 1-2 minutes until it becomes homogeneous.
The mixture in the container should be consumed within 1-2 hours.
When the ridges are placed on the roof spine, they are glued together from their recesses with ridge adhesive.
The sides of the ridge are filled with adhesive, leaving no gaps.
1 hour after this application, the adhesive is given its final shape with a damp sponge.
Since the bonding and setting is complete approximately 48 hours after the application, the ridge tiles and applied surfaces should not be stepped on during this period.
Warnings:
Avoid application at temperatures below +5ºC and above +35ºC.
Newly completed applications should be protected against adverse weather effects such as direct sunlight, excessive drafts, high air temperatures (above +35ºC), rain and frost during the first days.
Never add powder or water to expired or crusted mortar in the container; throw the mortar away.
Wash all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use.
Consumption: Approximately 600 grams
(For 1 ridge)
Consumption amounts are theoretically calculated values in a laboratory environment; we recommend that a consumption control sample be applied before application.
