Pre-Application Preparation:
Care must be taken to ensure that the application surface is cured and solid.
The application surface must be cleared of substances that prevent adhesion such as dust, oil and paint.
Allmax thermal insulation plasters should be applied at least 72 hours after they have dried completely, with a thickness of 4 mm.
In thermal insulation systems, decorative plaster primer should be applied before applying the decorative coating.
In applications made outside the thermal insulation system, sub-surfaces that are not strong enough to support the application, such as cracked plasters and weak surfaces, should be cleaned from the application surface.
Floors requiring repair should be repaired with special repair mortars at least 3-4 days before applying the adhesive.
In hot weather, the application surface should be wetted and care should be taken to keep it moist.
If the surface is very absorbent, it is recommended to use a primer on the surface.
APPLICATION:
Pour 25 kg of Alldeco C1 Decorative Plaster into a container filled with approximately 6.0-7.0 litres of water and mix with a low speed mixer or trowel until a lump-free mixture is obtained.
During the mixing process, no additives should be added that are not specified in the application instructions.
The prepared mortar should be left to mature for 2-3 minutes and then mixed for another 1-2 minutes until it becomes homogeneous.
The mixture in the bowl should be consumed within approximately 1 hour.
Decorative plaster should be applied to the surface with a steel trowel and spread over the entire surface in equal thickness.
Application thickness should be adjusted according to the largest aggregate.
Before the material applied to the application surface shrinks completely (the shrinkage of the material varies depending on the weather conditions), a pattern can be given by making horizontal, vertical or circular movements with a plastic trowel according to the desired texture direction. The application should not be interrupted while the pattern is given and the trowel surface should be scraped frequently.
After it dries, it can be painted with any desired solvent-free exterior paint
Warnings:
Application should be done on wide facades without interruption and with sufficient personnel.
At points where a finish is required on the facade, a protective tape must be used to define the boundaries and apply.
During the application of the final coats, rapid drying due to adverse weather conditions should be prevented.
To prevent rapid and unhealthy drying, plastered surfaces should be protected from direct sunlight, harsh weather conditions such as strong winds, hail and frost.
In order to achieve the anticipated and desired long-term performance of the product, after the completion of the entire application, it is necessary to protect or cover the application with a coating (paint, etc.) suitable for the purpose and detail of the work as soon as possible (3-7 days depending on the drying time of the applied product (Low temperature, high relative humidity will prolong the drying time).
Paint primer must be used in dark color paint applications. The entire coating surface must be painted in 2 layers to prevent applications where color tone differences may occur.
Paint consumption may vary depending on the pattern. Color should be checked before application.
