Pre-Application Preparation:
Care must be taken to ensure that the application surface is cured and solid.
The application surface must be cleared of substances that prevent adhesion such as dust, oil and paint.
Sub-surfaces that are not strong enough to support the application, such as cracked plasters and weak surfaces, should be cleaned from the application surface.
Floors requiring repair should be repaired with special repair mortars at least 3-4 days before applying the adhesive.
The application surface should be wetted and care should be taken to keep it moist.
If the surface is very absorbent, it is recommended to use a primer on the surface.
APPLICATION:
25 kg of Alldeco M6 2.0 mm, Decorative Plaster is poured into a container filled with approximately 6.0-7.0 liters of water and mixed with a low-speed mixer or trowel until a lump-free mixture is obtained.
During the mixing process, no additives should be added that are not specified in the application instructions.
The prepared mortar should be left to mature for 2-3 minutes and then mixed for another 1-2 minutes until it becomes homogeneous.
The mixture in the bowl should be consumed within approximately 1 hour.
Decorative plaster should be applied to the surface with a steel trowel and spread over the entire surface in equal thickness.
Application thickness should be adjusted according to the largest aggregate.
Before the plaster dries, patterns are created on the plaster by making circular movements with a plastic trowel.
After it dries, it can be painted with any desired solvent-free exterior paint.
Warnings:
Application should be done on wide facades without interruption and with sufficient personnel.
At points where a finish is required on the facade, a protective tape must be used to define the boundaries and apply.
During the application of the final coats, rapid drying due to adverse weather conditions should be prevented.
To prevent rapid and unhealthy drying, plastered surfaces should be protected from direct sunlight, harsh weather conditions such as strong winds, hail and frost.
In order to achieve the anticipated and desired long-term performance of the product, after the entire application is completed, it is necessary to protect or cover the application with a coating (paint, etc.) appropriate to the purpose and detail of the work as soon as possible (3-7 days, depending on the drying time of the applied product).
