SKU: EWA-TR-INN-74-30Ifloor® elasto is composed of 100% rubber derivatives. It is manufactured by separating the closed porous foam products of synthetic rubbers such as nitrile butadiene rubber and epdm (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer) into small pieces by special methods and compressing them again with nitrile binders under high pressure.
Elasto obtained by this production method becomes a rigid insulation product with 250 kg/m³ density, semi-open pore, mixed cell structure and high elasticity.
Ifloor® elasto is in b,s2,d0 class fireproof product group. It can be safely used under final coating surfaces such as under parquet and under carpet. Since it does not contain formaldehyde and volatile fibre components, it is a voc compliant product, does not contain volatile organic components, does not harm human health. Moisture tolerance is very high, does not rot under the floor.
It meets the mass and spring requirements for parquet and under carpet use in a single product. They are excellent sound and impact insulation products for flooring. Within the scope of compulsory tests according to en 16354, the permanent volume loss (xi,max) of 5mm thick elasto after 2 million 10% compression is 0,34mm. It has much higher strength values in permanent collapse compared to known under parquet products.
Ifloor® elasto provides impact insulation between 14db-18db and airborne sound insulation between 16db-28db under parquet and carpet coverings in thicknesses between 3mm and 8mm.
Elasto product group can also be used safely under screed if a separator foil is used with the screed or if it is produced with foil coating when desired. Thicknesses for use under screed are in the range of 5mm - 20mm depending on the structure and floor type.
Since this product is obtained from the recycling of nitrile/epdm rubbers, it has a very wide range of operating temperatures compared to other under floor covering products. It does not lose its elasticity up to -30°c and maintains its working performance without volume loss up to +105°c. When directly exposed to flame, it only ashes without ignition.
