Polyurethane mats are a safe choice for vibration-proof systems when manufactured using proper methods. Ifloor® poly-ven is manufactured by casting special polyurethane elastomers featuring a 100% amorphous cell structure. Low dynamic stiffness - excellent vibration-damping performance is perceived by the end user on all types of floors. Specially molded surface featuring a viol pattern provides minimal contact point on the floor.

Configured in 3 different densities and dynamic stiffnesses. 8mm, 10mm and 15mm thick molds are available in both densities. This combination embodies 9 different product names for ifloor® poly-ven.

Ifloor® poly-ven products have dynamic stiffnesses between 6 mn/m³ and 21 mn/³ standing out with their impact-insulation performances between ∆lw 23db and ∆lw 34db. Product selection must take into account neighborhood structures.

Poly-ven impact-insulation mats must be installed on the floor in plates without leaving gaps.  To prevent screed water from running down from the joints, the upper surfaces are joined together using insulation tapes. A choice of guard® acrtype and acrtype-p acrylic assembly tapes with high adhesive strength are available.

These high-tech elastomeric products are impervious to cement water, moisture, alkaline compounds and floor temperatures up to 80°c, such as underfloor heating systems. They retain their insulating performance for years.

The orange ifloor® poly-ven o17/8 with 6mn/m³ dynamic stiffness and ∆lw 34db shock absorption strength delivers superior performance with all types of structures and all types of flooring. However, this performance does not imply a minimum requirement for all types of buildings. O17/8 systems installed on a residential floor and a fitness center, for instance, let no noise pass through to floors underneath. It should be noted that the right solution for a fitness center may not the economical solution for an apartment. For similar performance, the green colored b8/4 confirms the economic cost curve for apartments.

Ifloor® poly-ven provides the highest level of insulation for residential buildings, mixed-use buildings, hotels, shopping malls, schools, hospitals, steel structures, wooden structures, watercraft, and sports fields.
