Ifloor® vibrapoly is manufactured from high-tech special polyurethane elastomers. Featuring a sophisticated cell structure, vibrapoly exhibits excellent vibration-isolating properties. It provides thorough insulation under a wide range of dynamic loads from medium-range floor loads to very high loads. Depending on the type of use - residential complex, office building, hotel, industrial plant or railroad facility - it caters to different requirements for sound and vibration proof systems.
Vibrapoly, a high-tech product, serves as a support between construction layers over the entire surface, at specific points or in strips. Engineered shapes are also available for some special applications.
Ifloor® vibrapoly exhibits a nearly linear curve at low compressive loads. For the product segment to perform efficiently, the static load to be undertaken must be properly calculated. In areas requiring a vibration-proof approach, a vibrapoly product on 6 different load ranges can be put to use. This selection must take into account the static load and the dynamic load range of the existing configuration. All vibrapoly series have successfully completed dynamic fatigue performance processes. Each of them is subjected to up to 2 million repeated load tests under their own dynamic loads and 10% deformation resistance loads.
The 6 product groups in the vibrapoly series have very low natural frequencies under appropriate dynamic loading. When used in the correct static load ranges, these high-tech elastomers exhibit linear performance curves even when dynamic pressure ratios increase. They are not affected by short load peaks.
Vibrapoly elastomers provide a combination of spring and damping properties to ensure a vibration-proof configuration.
Vibrapoly elastomers can be safely used in residential buildings, on floating ship floors, in floors of low mechanical load areas such as engine air conditioners, under heavy floors such as generators with static loads up to 0.95 n/mm², to configure vibration-proof structures near underground or overhead rail systems, underlayer of ballast and mass-spring systems.
